Many of the questions we get are similar in nature so we will try to answer a few of the more common ones right here to save some time:
Q: How long will it take to get my order?
In-stock items will ship within 1 day, from then it is all about location as it may take from 1 - 4 days for the shipper. Not every size of product can be inventoried but turnaround is quick, usually 1-3 days, so we ask that you allow 7 days from date of purchase to delivery. Tracking information will be provided. When you receive the order confirmation the projected lead time, if any, will be indicated.
Q: I only need 2 rosettes but it says I have to order 10, what gives?
You may order as many, or as few, as you wish. Please click on the Custom Shop tab above for more information on small orders.
Q: What do you use for your paint grade material?
We use either poplar, birch or maple, depending on the application. Primed MDF is another option for some products if you need a Iarge quantity and want to save a little money and/or time.
Q: Are these rosettes available in ________?
We can mill our designs in any available hardwood species, and have listed some of the more common varieties in the drop down menus. If you don't see the specie that you desire, please click the Custom Shop tab and request a quote.
Q: Can I get your rosette blocks in other sizes than you list?
Yes, as long as the size you desire falls between the largest and smallest listed in the drop down menus for each design. Certain designs have larger sizing options than others so be sure to look around.
Q: What size block do I need.
There is a detailed explanation of this subjest under the Sizing tab. If still unsure, just provide the width and thickness of your casing/baseboard in an e-mail and we will be happy to offer suggestions.
Q: Can I get your rosettes with a plain edge?
Absolutely, and there are also several other edge details available, click on the Custom Shop tab for more information.
Q: Will I have to do any sanding before I finish them?
If you like to sand, go right ahead, but when our mouldings ship they are ready to finish by whatever means you desire. No sanding required.
Q: Can I mix designs to make the quantity for discounts?
The reason we can offer a discount for a certain quantity is that it is more efficient to process more of the same, and we would like to pass that savings on to you. It would defeat the purpose to mix and match. Sorry.
Q: Is there a minimum order requirement?
Due to the time it takes to process and package an order we must have a certain number of pieces to make it cost-effective, and keep our prices low as as possible for those who need many. The minimum requirement is posted in each ad.
Q: I don't have a PayPal account, can I pay another way?
You can process your credit card through the PayPal system even though you do not have a PayPal account. The process is simple, just follow the prompts. You may also print the shopping cart and mail with your check or money order.
Q: Can you ship internationally?
We have shipped to Canada and Mexico, as well as a few European countries, via USPS. There are special procedures for international shipping, and restrictions in certain cases. Every request must be assessed individually, please click the email link below or call, 1-218-252-4709 (M-F, 8-5 Central).
Q: How do you ship, UPS, USPS, FedEx?
We have accounts with UPS and USPS, and use either at will. If you would like to use another shipper such as FedEx, we can make special arrangements.
